Just curious, where did you purchase your wire? and how much difficulty did you have achieving the shape of the petal to your liking? They are so creative!

Josie

Lara - I actually just picked up the wire at a Michaels, I believe it was in the jewelry making section (it was one of the thickest gauges of wire they had). The shape isn't too hard, although it does take a little practice at first. my biggest piece of advice is to just relax and have fun when making them, they're supposed to be very "organic" and not perfect!

oh! I also once did a project making much, much larger ones and used very thick wire from home-depot, I had to use gloves when using that wire though.

Bailey Finden

Just wondering how you attached them to the wall afterwards?

Josie

Bailey - I cut of little squares of the little stickies that come with 3M Command hooks - nothing fancy!

harpluck

could you hang things on the flower? am thinking jewelry and little things. :p

Reagan Harris

These are great. I've been thinking of what I could use as an embellishment for a wreath and I think these will be perfect. I have a ton of wire hangers too, but those might be a bit tough to shape. Thanks for the idea!

FineandFeathered

The first time I made these I actually used extra thick wire (not sure what that type of wire was actually for), you just might need a pair of nice thick gloves if your working with a tough wire!

Nina

Oh these are nice. I want to try this. Thank you!
