I decided to go extra-simple this year and use some of my massive amount of kraft paper. I also picked up a little bit of candy-cane striped paper from the craft store which turned out to be pretty cute:)
I think the older I get the more excited I am to give gifts then to get (In fact, I find it harder to think of things I want the older I get:)

I love craft paper to wrap gifts. These are beautiful! The tape is really cool. I agree about it being harder to think of things I actually want + how it's more fun to give gifts.

Oh those wrapped up presents look lovely! And I totally feel the same as you about preferring to give gifts than receive them! I don't ask for stuff, it comes and goes and most of the time I just buy it for myself anyway :) but I do like surprises!
