It's definetely not a secret that I love quick and easy DIY's and this is exactly that!
It only takes a minute or two to throw together and even though I made this little guy into a hair accessorie, they would always be super cute to tie onto gifts!
SUPPLIES scissors, hair clip/barrett, thread, needle & some fun fabric:)
1: cut out a strip of fabric (mine was about 3 inches wide by 5 or 6 inches long)
2: fold over both ends, so you have a long "tube"
3-4: fold both ends into the middle
5-6: "scrunch" up the middle and sew a few stitches through and pull.
7-8: take a small strip of fabric, fold over into a long tube like the first one and sew together, making a little loop (I wrapped it around my bow first to test how long I needed) and slide on.
9-10: slide your barrett through the loop on the back.
Yay! You're done!
My hair always is in need of a little help, so this is the perfect fun touch:)
super cute! I need to try this, I've just ordered a load of fabric to recover a chair so this will be the perfect way to use up some offcuts!
