I saw a few Mason Jar soap dispensers floating around Pinterest, and making one has been on my to-do list for a while now and I finally found a few minutes to throw one together! And really, a few minutes is all you need, with a few trusty tools.
Supplies:
Mason jar (with lid)
Liquid Soap
Hammer
Nail
Hot glue gun
Spray Paint (optional)
Use nail to punch a hole for the soap pump in the lid
(you can widen it by punchin the nail around the hole too - be careful!)
At this point, I spray-painted the outside of the lid pieces, but it's up to you if you want
to keep it the regular color or not.
Then just fill up your jar with your soap (I got these super-yummy smelling ones for
a buck each at our local Big Lots - score!)
Hot glue time!
Hot glue right around the base of the pump, keeping as close to it as possible and let dry.
I decided to spray-paint the lid and base of the pump to make it all uniform -
this parts up to you!
All done!
PS. I have a new tutorial for make this without the glue - check it out here!

Love this! I need something for the girls bathroom and this is just the ticket! Thanks for sharing.

LOVE IT! What a great DIY for a few reasons~
1. Their easy enough to do
2. Great gift idea, especially if funds are low
3. Fun & Creative craft to do with children
4. They make a great "little something" to give to teachers at the end of the school year
5. Make a set of them to put in a raffle basket
6. Can also put hand sanitizer in them too
Thank you for sharing!

I love the diy mason jar soap dispenser. Have made a few myself, One for the bathroom and another for my kitchen. But I prefer metal pump tops over plastic. Just looks better imo.
