I've had this vintage hat for a few years now. It was another thrift store find that I just couldn't pass up. It's been one of those things that I always say I'm going to start wearing, but it just continues to collect dust. So I decided to do what needed to be done and change it up in a way that would actually get me wanting to wear it!
Here's the before. Certainly not bad, but the chain was pretty cheap looking, and only barely hanging on anyway, so I thought I'd change it up and add one of my favorite things - feathers! This is definetely easy, and cheap, and could work on a variety of hats that need a little somethin' somethin' ;)
All I did was carefully pull off the chain that was already there, apply a small amount of hot glue to the back of each feathers and apply them around the hat where the chain used to sit.
Craz easy, right? love it.
Happy Monday everyone!

way cool!
