Since we're renters, I'm always looking for new ways to hang things without leaving big holes in the walls. So when I got this lovely map (Paper Source!:) I decided to take advantage of some of the pin holes already in the wall and use tacks, string and just a couple of clothes pins to hang it, and I must say, I'm pretty fond of how it turned out (of course it might just be my love for maps!).

I really love the way you hung the map up! I think it would be really cute if you did the same string/tack thing underneath as well and it'd almost be like a little "frame"
Great idea I think I'm going to try this in my little rental apartment, too!

Looks great! I really want n old map of the world, or a vintage, out-of date globe

I like that you have the ability to show restraint with the clothes pins! I have a similar set up right above my art table, with two strings, and they're both overwhelmed with hundreds of mini clothes pins and mini binder clips tacking everything up. Maybe I should start weeding all that down...
This looks really nice! (And I'm super in love with the reddish orange wall behind it. Great color!)

That's a brilliant idea! Way to add the cozy and relaxed touch to such an awesome decoration piece. I love maps, and I've never seen a presentation I liked better! Thanks for sharing, Josie.
