Gap Dress & Ballet Flats // Antique Locket Necklace // Thrifted Belt
I have quite a few dresses, but this is really one of my only "fancy" ones I suppose. Even when I was a little girl, I always had a bunch of dresses I loved to "play" in (most of which were Disney princess dresses) and only a few I could wear to church or somewhere nice.
I'm usually not a purple, or a "frills" person, but even after having this dress for two years or so, I still love it! Sometimes it really pays off to step out of your comfort zone and try something on you wouldn't normally wear. I always pull this baby out for weddings, or like tonight, a nice dinner in Philly and meeting people from the company my husband works for.
It also is one of the few kind of "grown up" dresses I have, and usually I don't mind that my style is similar to that of most toddlers, but sometimes you just gotta "fancy it up!"

I really love the way you styled this. The dress looks great especially with the belt and necklace. So cute.

I love love love the fact that you're not wearing shoes! I know what you mean about having 'nice' clothes and then just the regular everyday stuff. Sometimes its nice to feel like an adult for a change - and you look stunning! xo
