So my birthday/(1st!)anniversary isn't until tomorrow, but my amaaaazing husband gave me my present early last night - A NEW CAMERA!!
My poor old guy has been nothing but problems recently (but then again, it's 7 years old and I've used it pretty much every day since the day I emptied out my savings account and purchased it - so you gotta give it some credit). And I've been eyeing the Nikon D5100 since it came out last year, AND NOW I HAVE IT!
I just had to pop in this morning and share my insane excitement with everyone!
Now I'm off to ride this afternoon:)
HOORAY!!!!! I don't know what I would do without my Canon 7D. I have been using my new point and shoot a lot for everyday photos that I put in our Project Life album. But the Canon is my go to for the blog and for extra special pictures. Like my twin sister's wedding this summer! :)

Very exciting! I keep trying to talk myself into a new camera splurge (mine's pretty ancient). I'm definitely planning on getting a new camera before my sister's wedding in Hawaii--it's definitely the perfect excuse to indulge!
