Ronson for Target Dress (thrifted) // Vintage Necklace // Vintage Boots (thrifted)
I kind of just grabbed this dress absent-mindedly while thrifting. It was cute, in my size, and only four bucks so I thought "what the hay!" Once I got it home I looked at it more carfeully and couldn't help being reminded by corn stalks from the print. Being in southern New Jersey, corn fields are everywhere right now, so I guess I might just have corn on the brain (totally normal, of course). But I still like this dress. Actually, maybe I like it even more for reminding me to eat some more corn like a good Jersey girl.
On a strange note. I am oddly excited for fall this year. I am usually a summer girl through and trough, but I find myself craving hot tea, sweaters and wheel-barrels full of pumpkin pie (and no, I am not exaggerating. I take my punkin' pie verrrry seriously, my friends!).
Hope the last few hours of your weekend are lovely!

I can't believe you got that dress for four dollars! I wish thifting was that good in my town. I love the pattern on this dress and how you styled it with socks and ankle boots. So cute!

That dress is adorable! The corn look is subtle enough not to be...corny... ;-) Your hair looks lovely, too, the braid is perfect.
