Target Dress & Tights // Vintage Blazer (thrifted) // Thrifted Belt & Scarf // Wanted Boots
I honestly think that a little white dress is even better then the classic "little black dress". The big difference is that black can seem really dressy, so if you work in an office or need to be dressier for your job, that's perfect, but it can be a little hard to work in for a more casual wardrobe, which white can be great for. I grabbed this dress on sale at Target years ago and I still wear it on a regular basis, no matter what season it is. I've worn it so many times on my blog, which I'm sure would make some bloggers cringe, but I like to be realistic - I can't go out and buy new outfits every week, so I am always trying to find new ways to wear everything in my closet, and since this dress has proven to be the easiest to 'remix' it shows up a lot. That's one of my favorite things about blogging though - pushing myself out of my comfort zone of wearing the same outfit, and trying to get my "moneys worth" out of every piece I have!

Love this! I've never thought of belting a blazer before, will have to try it!

I love how you styled this dress! It's a perfect example of how a summery dress can be worn year-round. I agree with you that I like to get my money's worth out of items as well and keep pushing for new ways to wear things! This look is SO cute and I just love it!

Would also look good as a little slip under another skirt or dress, which will also add extra layering for warmth in the winter months. Leg warmers and leggings work too.

I think white is great too. It's so cheery! I particularly love it worked into winter outfits.

OMG - that scarf! I have one that is the EXACT same color...on one side, on the other it's an iridescent-y red. Such a pretty contrast!
